Dr. Mark Garner, Lead Dentist / Owner
Dr. Mark Garner is the heart behind Orchard Meadows. A Rapid City native and veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Garner is known for his calm demeanor, clinical excellence, and deep commitment to his patients and his community.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2006 and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
In addition to being voted Best Dentist in the Black Hills in 2022, 2023, and 2024, Dr. Garner is licensed in IV moderate sedation (available only at the Rapid City location) and holds active memberships in:

Black Hills District Dental Society
International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI)
Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)

Outside the clinic, Dr. Garner leads community outreach initiatives like Dentistry With Heart (a free dentistry day for underserved populations), organizes Freedom Day for veterans, and participates in international mission trips. He enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time with his wife Lindsey and their eight children.
Dr. Mason Hericks, Dentist
Originally from Watertown, South Dakota, Dr. Mason Hericks brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to general dentistry. With a background as a collegiate track athlete and a lifelong connection to rural communities, Dr. Hericks understands the value of working hard, listening well, and earning trust over time.
He earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and went on to complete his DDS at Creighton University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hericks practices comprehensive general dentistry and is actively expanding his expertise in dental implants and orthodontics. His calm, measured approach helps patients feel at ease, whether they’re navigating complex treatment or routine care.Outside of the office, Dr. Hericks enjoys hiking, hunting, skiing, golf, tennis, and even a little video gaming in his downtime.
Kimberlee, Registered Dental Hygienist
Kimberlee is a friendly and familiar face at our Spearfish location, where she’s been delivering personalized hygiene care since 2021. Originally from a small town in southeastern Montana, she understands the values of rural living and brings that same sense of connection to each patient she meets.
She earned her Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene from the University of Wyoming through the Sheridan College Dental Hygiene Program.
Kimberlee is passionate about building lasting relationships with patients and believes in treating everyone with the same care and attention she would give to her own family. Her gentle approach and strong focus on education make hygiene visits something patients look forward to — not fear.
When she's not in the office, you can find Kimberlee antiquing, traveling, spending time outdoors, or helping on her family's ranch.
